Mpumalanga Traffic Officer Learnership Programme 2021

The Department of Community Safety, Protection and Communication invites applications for the Traffic Officer Training Diploma that seeks to train unemployed youth with knowledge and skills in traffic law enforcement. Preference will be given to people from previously disadvantaged communities and unemployed youth in Mpumalanga province who fulfill the following requirements:

An academic qualification of not less than the twelfth grade
At least one driver’s license
A South African citizen
There is no criminal record
The applicant must be 18 years old and not over 35 years old.
Applicants must be in good physical condition
Note: Traffic training will be conducted at the Mpumalanga Traffic Training College in McCullough (Calcutta) in Bushbackridge Local Municipality. Department will conduct criminal background checks.

Successful candidates are expected to sign a 12-month contract with the administration, and upon completion, students will receive a diploma in Basic Traffic Officers: NQF 4. Dcss will verify all qualifications, driver’s license and residential addresses for each applicant

Applications must be submitted on Form Z83, which can be obtained from any public service department and must be accompanied by an updated CV, certified copies of original degrees, academic records and a copy of the identity document.
