This is where our customers are, where it all happens!Store management is about being hands on, constantly leading and directing store operations from the floor where it’s all happening. Ensuring each store achieves our trading standards also means putting in hours before the customers arrive and after the store has closed. Job Advert Summary The key responsibility of the job is to protect the company’s assets (property,people, equipment, money, etc.) from a variety of hazards (such as waste, damaged property, unsafe worker behavior, criminal activity such as theft, etc.) by enforcing preventative measures. Maintain a high-visibility presence to deter illegal and inappropriate actions. To take action to minimize damage (such as warning and escorting trespassers or transgressors off property), and reporting any incidents to management or emergency services (police or paramedics)The successful candidate must have proven record of working in retail security and must be SIRA registered and have Grade C registration.
Minimum Requirements Must have a security qualification with a minimum of 2 years Retail Security Industry experienceMust be registered with SIRA/SOBMust have own reliable transportMust have grade C registration
Duties & Responsibilities Interact with customers / employees in a courteous manner while applying security policies and procedures and offering an efficient security serviceMust be able to evaluate security systems and procedures and make recommendations for improvement where necessaryMust be able to liaise with senior management as well as outside security organizations and the SAP servicesPerform all security duties according to company policies and proceduresFollow correct emergency proceduresEnsure that security procedures are adhered to by employees and customersIdentify possible security risks, take appropriate action and inform relevant peopleSafeguard company assetsBe consistently alert / vigilant / aware of what is going on by scanning for areas that need attention and by taking the required corrective actionHandling challenging customers, standing for long hours and routine workMust be able to assist with alarm call outs if necessary
